We are searching for a Maintenance Planner to join our team located at our plant in Louisville, KY.

Your Role:

As a Maintenance Planner, you will be responsible for providing technical support through the effective deployment of employees, outside resources, and material, and the involvement of people at all levels to solve problems, meet customer requirements, and meet standards. As a Maintenance Planner you will generate production schedules each day for the manufacturing machines based on daily MRP updated information. This planner will also review any changes/additions/deletions for customer orders as well as determine component requirements to produce needed products for customer shipments. You will have the opportunity to:

• Develop and implement a monthly preventative maintenance calendar
• Generate work orders and plan work from completed check sheets
• Schedule contractors to support maintenance personnel in the completion of major projects
• Train staff on standard operating procedures then perform audit to ensure accuracy

Ultimately, you will ensure the safety of our facility and staff by maintaining our equipment and developing standard work procedures to keep us on-track and successful.

We need you to have:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 3-5 years in a similar role at a unionized manufacturing facility
• Experience with maintaining a CMMS
• Experience in planning for new equipment installs and upgrades

Icing on the cake:

• BA/BS degree in a technical field
• Qualified in NFPA - 70 E for Electrical work
• Knowledge of environmental regulations
