The Clinical Program Assistant works with children in small groups to implement and track goal progress through play-based activities at Fraser's clinical sites in the preschool day treatment program. Clinical Program Assistants also provide assistance with daily living skills. This is a great way to begin a career with Fraser and gain hands-on experience working with children! Responsibilities:

The Clinical Program Assistantworks in small groups with children with autism and/or other mental health diagnoses. Under the supervision of Mental Health Practitioners, the Clinical Program Assistants assist with implementing and tracking goal progress through play-based activitiesandprovide assistance with daily living skills.

Available Locations and Schedules:

Richfield: MWF 1:00pm - 4:30pm

Woodbury: MWF 8:30am - 12:00pm and/or M - F 1:00pm - 5:00pm

*Some of these shifts can only be separated by MWF am, MWF pm, T/Th am, T/Th pm. Please apply and we can determine a scheduling fit based on current site needs.

NOTE:The openings we have will vary by timing and location. We prioritize applicants that are seeking immediate, on-going employment with Fraser rather than seasonal employment. A great time to apply would be 4-6 weeks prior to your anticipated available start date!

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with Introduction to Psychology or Child Psychology college credits preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of child development and experience with young children through babysitting, internships, etc.
  • Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds. Must have the physical health and stamina to work on a consistent basis with children who have special needs.
  • Ability to achieve and maintain the status of "not disqualified" upon completion of the Minnesota Department of Human Services Background Check.
