The Senior Analyst, Commercial Finance will report to the Director of Commercial Finance and provide analytical support to the Commercial teams in addition to strategic Pricing initiatives and projects. This person will identify and communicate insights through analysis and cross-functional partnerships to drive profitable growth for the organization. This person will also play a key role in the monthly reporting and distribution of financial results to Sales and Management, identifying key drivers of variances and highlighting risks and opportunities. This position will play a key role in driving revenue and margin growth through strategic insights and be an agent for change when needed. Specific Functions and Responsibilities (but not limited to any of these functions and responsibilities as required):Conduct financial analysis and act as the financial resource and decision support to the following areas of the business: Commercial Finance, Management, Strategic Pricing Partner internal with cross-functional business partners to identify and implement cost savings and productivity initiatives Partner with Director of Commercial Finance to identify and drive changes within the organization that shortens the cash cycle and improves the balance sheet Partner with the Sales and Pricing teams to help drive revenue and increase profitability through improved reporting through our CRM database and insights into win/loss rates, pipeline sales, etc Manage strategic initiatives related to the profitability and growth of the organization as needed (eg Annual Price increases, New Big Dollar Opportunities, Speculative purchases, Contract Renewals etc) Support Director of Commercial Finance in creating and managing forecast and annual sales and margin budgets Create, distribute, and/or improve financial reporting to key stakeholders on a monthly basis and provide. On a monthly basis, conduct variance analysis of divisional financial statements identifying issues and opportunities against full year plan and forecast to budget owners Prepare reporting and analysis for the BOD and assist in the completion of quarterly board meeting presentations Leverage Power Bi and partner with IT to help improve and manage reporting dashboards on sales reporting and profitability Provide ad-hoc analysis and reporting as needed. Qualifications: Candidate holds an undergraduate degree in finance/accounting 3 to 5 years experience working in Fiance and/or Accounting Ability to communicate with and influence Sr Management team Systems experience with Microsoft AX, Power Bi preferred but not required Proven track record in a similar role with a small to mid sized company High systems proficiency and advanced excel skills Above average leadership skills required Demonstrated ability to work successfully across all levels throughout an organization with a high degree of partnering skills PI128765940 |
