Position available with KC Water Asset Management Division located at 4800 E. 63rd Street.
Salary Range: $4,945-$8,833/month
Normal Work Days/Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.

The Project Management System Analyst is located in the Asset Management Division at KC Water in the utility. The individual selected for this job will work closely with both the Business Analytics Section and Applications Development Section within the Division and the department's Engineering Division. This person will primarily manage the department's Project Management Information System (eBuilder) and support efforts to improve integration between multiple asset management, customer information (CIS) and decision-support (DSS) systems. They will collaborate and coordinate with project management staff from throughout the department as well as outside entities who are assisting the department in project delivery. Duties include review and assessment of current project procedures and processes; development of recommendations to improve those processes; and implementation of project delivery solutions. Other duties include representing the department as the main technician liaison with the management of the citywide eBuilder solution (workflow recommendations, data warehouse management, etc.). Will also inform and assist in the development, integration's and management of applications and technology tools that support other business needs for data collection, data management and reporting. Must be a strong communicator and the ability to design and implement solutions from various stakeholder groups.
REQUIRES an accredited Master's degree in public or business administration, urban or regional planning, economics, accounting, finance or a related field and 3 (OR an accredited Bachelor's degree in the listed fields and 5) years of progressively responsible, professional experience in public or business administration, corporate or municipal finance, budget, research, accounting or a related field, including 2 years of experience at the Analyst level. Preference given to applicants with demonstrated experience with PMIS or similar systems; Agile project management; Business Intelligence software tools (Microsoft Power BI, Tableau); Python, R and WCF services (SOAP, REST); FME or other ETL tools; Microsoft SQL Server; Microsoft Windows Server 2012 and 2016 or higher; Windows 10; C#; VB; Business Process Mapping Software (Signavio, Visio); Water Industry experience.
