WHAT IS THE ROLE ABOUT? As our new Digital Program Manager, you will have oversight of programs and projects related to the creation and delivery of VHL's digital learning product portfolio content. The collaborative partnerships you form and maintain with the Editorial, Engineering, and Product teams will be essential to the success of the strategies, coordination, development and production of digital content plans and programs. You will play a key role in advancing VHL’s strategic roadmap and goals.
- In partnership with the Director, execute on the strategic planning and delivery of digital content for VHL product line
- Work closely with Editorial and Product stakeholders to provide digital product insight and recommendations on digital development and new product plans as well as roadmaps
- Oversee and guide evaluation of content from Editorial for feasibility and execution within design and functional parameters
- Prepare and manage program and production budgets, schedules, and work plans
- In coordination with Director, manages selected third-party tools and vendor relationships for multiple digital programs
- Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders on proactive issue identification and risk management
- Oversee priorities and dependencies of all deliverables so that expectations are being met
- Create and document processes and policies with internal stakeholders supporting digital production, program management, and work streams
YOU MUST HAVE (MINIMUM REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE)
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 5+ years’ experience in digital production, product management, program management, or similar role required
- Experience in K-12/Higher Education, educational publishing, educational technology, or language products or similar industry required
- Experience managing projects, executing on multiple deadlines
- Experience using applications such as Basecamp, Jira, Asana, Sharepoint, MS Office Suite or other project management and digital content tools
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
IDEAL IF YOU HAVE or ARE (PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE)
- Advanced degree
- A strong strategic thinker and are able to effectively pivot between initiatives and related challenges
- Experience in the K-12 Spanish Language Arts (SLA) space
- Familiarity with VHL products
LOCATION: Hybrid Remote/In-Office: Our ideal candidate will be willing to work a hybrid of remote and in-office work time at either our Boston, MA or Miami, FL location during the week.
