Program Summary and Position Overview:
St. David's Center Community Mental Health: School and Home-Based Program strives to help elementary aged children and their families to encourage social, emotional, and/or behavioral mental health learning. Some children qualify for CTSS intensive services. We mainly partner with children and families in their school setting, we collaborate with school staff and/or other providers to help foster positive mental health needs; although, some children might need in-home mental health support as well.
Many if our therapists are embedded in a particular school which allows them to cultivate meaningful relationships with their clients and the educational staff. Their schools are a place of multidisciplinary teaming that is focused on a shared commitment to helping clients be successful.
Therapists work within a dynamic service delivery model the includes direct intervention (psychotherapy, psychoeducation, skills training), peers groups focusing on social emotional learning, consultation with teachers and other educational staff, prevention and promotion activities for staff and students, parent coaching, and peer mentorship.
Our therapists function as a well-connected team with their peers in school-based services as well as with their peers in home-based services within our Community Mental Health Program, which allows them to share expertise, celebrate their work, and think creatively in how to best support children and families in all aspects of their growth.
Our therapists are well supported - we provide individual weekly reflective supervision and weekly consultation team groups. We invest in your professional development in a variety of ways including agency trainings, program specific learning opportunities, and annual continuing education funding; we also have structure that allows for completion of Evidence Based Practice certification.

Flexible with weekly hours ranging from 32-40 M-F, with option to work 4 days per week and to balance 2 later days with 2 shorter days (e.g., work 8-6 M/W, 8-1 T/Th)
Compensation (Pay/Benefits): Our employees are our most valuable asset; therefore, we offer competitive pay and benefits. The pay range for these positions starts at $66,809 - $72,083 a year for 40 hours, depending on qualifications (i.e., licensure and experience). Please inquire with interest. This position is benefits eligible, including health and dental insurance, health savings account with an employer contribution, flexible spending accounts, and retirement account with matching contribution.
