The Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) is seeking qualified and enthusiastic individuals to join our Forensic Services or MSOP teams within the Direct Care & Treatment (DCT) division of the agency. The Security Counselor will provide facility security and/or residential care to individuals within one of the following programs at our St. Peter campus: The Forensic Mental Health Program (FMHP)* provides psychiatric evaluation and treatment services to individuals diagnosed with a mental illness who present a risk to public safety. The Minnesota Sex Offender Program (MSOP)* is for individuals who have completed their prison sentences and are civilly committed by the courts and placed in sex offender treatment for an indeterminate period of time.
