NFPA is seeking a Warehouse Associate to work M-F 8:15am-4:15pm. The Warehouse Associate will collate, prepare and pack customer orders. Maintains shipping records. Stocks and replenishes picking and shipping stations.


PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Performs all tasks associated with picking and packing customer orders from a pre-printed packing slip.
  • Verifies completed orders for accuracy.
  • Maintains work station supplies for packing efficiency.
  • Receives pre-printed stock replenishment instructions and locates stock accurately and neatly.
  • Reports any problems with forklift, power jacks, power lift, or scales to the Supervisor or Manager, Warehouse Operations
  • Assist with the movement of incoming non-inventoried materials.
  • Schedules pick-up for truck shipments by submitting shipping info on line.
  • Perform other duties relative to the entire order fulfillment operation, as directed.
Requirements:

Knowledge

  • High school diploma, or equivalent
  • 1 – 3 years of related warehousing/fulfillment experience
  • Certified forklift operator license obtainable within 2 years.
  • PC experience

  4. Physically demanding job – requires the ability to lift weights of 50 lbs.

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Normal warehouse working conditions.
  • Must work in areas with a risk of electrical shock 10% of the time.
