As a CAD Technician, you'll be responsible for providing our clients with a well organized and quality drawing to be used for design purposes and financial transactions.
Job Description Includes:

- Good communication skills are needed to work with project teams and clients
- Motivation to keep up with ever changing client and scheduling demands
- Ability to produce quality products based on a given set of criteria
- Problem solving abilities that you will need to utilize to keep the product moving through the process
- Flexibility and motivated with an ability to balance multiple projects is a must
- Knowledge of obtaining your own research documents, or ability to learn how, if our research specialist is occupied
- During busy periods you may be asked to work on a Saturday to complete a survey on schedule or assist the crews in the field on projects
Qualifications:
- Land Surveying degree and/or 2 years of land survey experience is preferred
- 2 years or better of CAD drafting is preferred
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
- Positive mental attitude - strong work ethic
- Good communications skills
- Work with CAD software to process field data and create the final survey product for a variety of surveys, including topographic, boundary, ALTA/NSPS and plats based on client specifications.
- Research and review legal documents related to boundary and ownership
- Create property and easement descriptions
- Working knowledge and ability to read construction plans
- Willingness to learn and drive to go the extra mile will only make you that much more valuable
- Valid Minnesota Drivers License. A motor vehicle report will be run prior to employment
