Non OHSU Student Worker US-OR-Portland Job ID: 2024-29594 Type: Regular Part-Time # of Openings: 1 Category: Student Portland, OR (Marquam Hill) Overview This position is under the supervision of Kevin Duff for the Department of Neurology’s Division of Aging, Alzheimer’s, and Related Disorders. The candidate will conduct neuropsychometric assessments for various projects being conducted by our faculty. The primary focus of this position is the assessment of older adults to provide data for various research projects. These assessments include neurocognitive evaluations, questionnaires, medical history, and functional assessments of daily activities. These assessments will occur in –clinics at OHSU or virtually. Additional duties include, but are not limited to: assisting with participant recruitment, determining study eligibility for research volunteers, obtaining informed consent, and facilitating study enrollment, as well as entering data.
This position will cover up to 20 hours/week. Familiarity with neuropsychological/cognitive testing is preferred, although training will be provided. Experience working with older adults, especially in a research setting, is also desirable. Attention to detail, good judgment, and adherence to study protocols are necessary. Responsibilities
