We are seeking a Director, Enterprise Infrastructure to oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of our computer network infrastructure. This role requires an analytical and strategic thinker who can manage the infrastructure team and guide Kimco infrastructure direction.

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Team Management: Direct and manage a team responsible for administration, maintenance, setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of the storage, servers, network equipment, cloud (Azure) and other IT infrastructure systems at both corporate office and properties.

  • Design and Implement Network Infrastructure: Assist and supervise the development and maintenance of both on-premises and cloud-based network infrastructures, ensuring they meet organizational needs.

  • Monitor Network Performance: Regularly assess network performance and availability, performing maintenance tasks to guarantee optimal functionality.

  • Develop Disaster Recovery Plans: Create and implement robust disaster recovery and business continuity strategies to maintain operations during disruptions.

  • Provide Technical Support: When required, offer third-level technical support, resolving complex issues related to the network.

  • Enhance IT Reporting Systems: Develop new reports, improve existing reporting mechanisms, and automate report generation processes.

  • Forecast Network Capacity: Anticipate future network needs and plan for infrastructure growth and expansion.

  • Vendor Relationship Management: Maintain relationships with vendors and service providers to secure the best service and value for the organization.

  • Budget Management: Oversee the IT networking department’s budget, ensuring efficient and effective resource utilization.

  • Policy Development: Collaborate with the Information Security department to develop and enforce IT policies and procedures.

  • Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities for IT networking staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.

  • Interdepartmental Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to align the IT networking department’s services with their needs, adhering to internal SLAs.

  • Technology Research: Research and evaluate new technologies to improve network performance and capabilities.

  • Project Management: Manage IT networking projects, ensuring timely, budget-conscious, and quality delivery.

  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure network compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards in conjunction with the Security department.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

  • Proven experience as an IT director or similar role.

  • Experience in analysis, implementation, and evaluation of IT systems and their specifications.

  • Sound understanding of computer systems (hardware/software), networks, etc.

  • Strong understanding of network security principles and disaster recovery planning.

  • Excellent critical thinking skills and ability to provide high-level technical support.

  • Strong leadership abilities and experience managing a team.

The expected salary range for this position is between $140,000 and $175,000. The actual compensation will be based on factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, market and business considerations and other factors permitted by law.
