Starting salary: $56,000 JOB SUMMARY The Clinician provides direct services to clients, in the office, school, or other identified setting to meet the unique needs of families served. Unlicensed clinicians are hired prior to obtaining their license to practice as mental health practitioners (i.e., psychology, social work, LMFT, LPC, LADC). Unlicensed clinicians will receive supervision by a licensed clinician and may be offered training opportunities. When eligible, all unlicensed clinicians are expected to obtain licensure to be considered for ongoing employment at The Village Reunification & Therapeutic Family Time (Program Summary) The clinician is responsible for provision of Reunification Readiness, Reunification Services and Therapeutic Family Time. Responsible for assessing the readiness of potential bio families referred to by DCF that may qualify for reunification services. Provide reunification services to families referred by DCF providing short-term intensive in-home services following the removal of a child(ren) due to abuse or neglect to promote successful reunification. Will conduct weekly home visits and work closely with the bio-family and foster family as well as conduct therapeutic family time (supervised visits) and transportation to and from visits. This position also provides on-call support to families and provides intervention as needed. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
