TALENT ACQUISITION SPECIALIST JOB SUMMARY

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in sourcing, attracting, and hiring talent to support Cannon's growth and objectives. This position will research, develop, and execute effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified talent. This involves sourcing, assessing, and interviewing prospective employees to identify the best fit for the Cannon team. From initiating job postings to facilitating offer negotiations and onboarding, you will manage the full recruitment lifecycle. We are seeking an individual with a thorough understanding and hands-on experience in all aspects of full lifecycle recruitment.


TALENT ACQUISITION SPECIALIST JOB DUTIES

  • Collaborates with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develops comprehensive recruitment plans.
  • Implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the open positions, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
  • Utilizes various sourcing techniques (e.g., job boards, social media, networking events, employee referrals) to attract qualified candidates.
  • Leverages networks to find qualified active and passive candidates through industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups, and conferences.
  • Sources, screens, and interviews candidates to assess their qualifications and fit for the positions and company culture.
  • Coordinates and facilitates the interview processes, including scheduling, candidate communication, and feedback collection.
  • Manages candidate relationships throughout the recruitment lifecycle, providing a positive experience and timely updates.
  • Stays informed about industry trends, best practices, and innovative recruiting techniques to enhance talent acquisition strategies.
  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date candidate records in our applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Ensures compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations throughout the recruitment process.
  • Tracks and analyzes recruitment metrics to evaluate the success of recruitment strategies and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years experience in talent acquisition or full cycle recruiting, preferably in the A/E/C sector.
  • A proven track record of successfully sourcing and hiring candidates in various roles and levels.
  • Well organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Solid understanding of recruitment processes and best practices, including candidate assessment techniques and interview methodologies.
  • Strong communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build a rapport with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Proficiency in applicant tracking systems and other recruitment tools.
  • Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
