Position Summary: Under the direction of the Quality Assurance Lead, the Quality Assurance Analyst 1 is responsible for delivering well tested applications to our clients and providing essential feedback to the software development team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Software Testing
2. Tests applications for defects and proper customer driven functionality?
3. Focuses on the functionality, security, and stability of our applications
4. Creates and reviews software test plans and validation test steps
5. Creates and executes manual test cases
6. Quality Assurance?
7. Proposes enhancements to the software development lifecycle as appropriate
8. Identifies risks and issues proactively and drives creative solutions
9. Participates in business requirement and functional specification reviews
10. Reviews Azure DevOps documentation for consistency with delivered application features
11. Ensures QA Dashboard is accurate and up to date at all times
12. Completes Root Cause Analysis of production defects
13. Updates Test Rails as required
14. Subject Matter Expert (SME) in at least one product
15. Contributes to RCAs, Release Retrospectives, and Hot Fix Recaps as required
16. Technical Support
17. Investigates and responds to customer feedback regarding quality
18. Completes assigned customer tickets
19. Additional duties as assigned

Position Qualifications (specific training or job experience required before appointment):

1. Bachelor's degree in a technical area such as Computer Science, Software Engineering or related professional experience preferred but not required
2. Ability to prioritize and be flexible in rearranging priorities across multiple projects and deadlines
3. Must possess a positive attitude with strong work ethic, integrity, and honesty
4. Ability to serve as a functional subject matter expert for ImageTrend products and associated applications
5. Working knowledge of Azure DevOps, a plus
6. SQL knowledge and understanding of relational DBs a plus
7. Effective analytical and critical thinking skills
8. The ability to communicate complex concepts in clear, simple, and understandable terms
