Patient Relations Intern

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Handle inbound calls from patients and customers to address inquiries and route to the appropriate person
  • Maintain accurate records of interactions, comments, and escalate complaints as necessary
  • Learn and adhere to company policies and procedures regarding patient interactions, data privacy, and compliance standards
  • Collaborate with the Patient Relations team to troubleshoot problems and escalate issues as necessary to ensure patient satisfaction.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, empathy, and patience in all interactions with customers, maintaining a positive and customer focused attitude.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a college or university program

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to listen actively, empathize with customers and build rapport
  • Basic computer skill and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and Smartsheet forms
  • Ability to work as part of a team
