Job Summary

Using critical thinking and independent discretion, this position is responsible for providing compliance ownership and support to the Individual Disability Insurance (IDI) Division through compliance training and documenting of processes pertaining to risk, forms management, responses to market conduct exams and ensuring IDI forms and systems are updated and compliant for both fully underwritten and guarantee standard issue IDI products.

  • Lead management of compliance-related reporting, processes, and projects, including answering questions related to policy administration, updating forms and materials and facilitating data gathering for inquiries from Legal and Compliance.

  • Lead and coordinate all business continuity and disaster recovery plans and exercises for the IDI division.

  • Work closely with legal, compliance, and system support to research the impact of regulatory changes to all IDI products, systems, and services.

  • Act as a SME for division-level projects and for employees in IDI Operations.

Skills and Background You’ll Need

  • Four (4) to six (6) years of product and policy administrative work experience in the insurance field (I.e., Compliance, leadership, project management, account management, etc.).

  • Proven project management skillset.

  • Excellent written, oral communication and presentation skills.

  • Effective collaboration with peers and team members and leadership team.

  • Detail-oriented with high-level proof-reading skills.

  • Ability to independently organize workload to meet changing priorities and deadlines.

  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Work, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.

  • Ability to research questions using internal and external resources.

  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and timelines.

Please note - the salary range for this role is listed below. In addition to salary, our package includes incentive plan participation and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits, as well as an initial PTO accrual of 164 hours per year. Employees also receive 11 paid holidays and 2 wellness days per year.

  • Eligibility to participate in an incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program and plan. Any award depends on various factors, including individual and organizational performance.

Salary Range:

$72,750.00 - $106,500.00
